In order to qualify for Liberty's extended lock warranty your safe:
- Must be registered. If not yet registered, register here.
- Purchased within the last year.
- Manufactured within the last two years.
Have your safes serial number and purchase date ready to see if you qualify.
Locks are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. With the additional 10 years of coverage, or a lifetime of coverage, Liberty will repair and/or replace parts of like kind and type at no cost to you!
Liberty will also cover the cost of a certified locksmith to gain you access to your safe at no cost to you.
*Except that outside the United States and Canada, Liberty will provide replacement parts of like kind and type at no cost to you, but you will be responsible for any and all labor, repair, or service costs.

What’s Covered Under an Extended Lock Warranty?
If your lock fails during your warranty period, Liberty Home Safe covers the following expenses at no cost to you:
- Replacement parts of a like type and kind.
- Installation of replacement parts.
- Locksmithing service to access or repair your lock.
International Note: Outside of the U.S. and Canada, we will provide Liberty Safe lock replacement parts at no cost. However, you must pay locksmithing service fees for replacements or repairs.

How do I Qualify for an Extended Lock Warranty?
To qualify for an extended lock warranty, your safe must meet the following conditions:
- Your safe must be registered. If you have not registered your safe warranty yet, please complete that process before purchasing an extended lock warranty.
- You must have purchased your safe within the last year. Your safe is ineligible for extended lock coverage if you purchased it more than 12 months ago, even if the initial 5-year lock warranty is still valid.
- Your safe must have been manufactured in the last two years. Regardless of when you purchased your safe, it must be no more than 24 months old.
